Near You

Only time will heal the pain. How much time depends on what you do. Exercise, counselling, new relationship, friends, work. All I can say to you is concentrate 100 percent on yourself. Learn to love yourself and what you are.

Best of luck with your journey back to happiness.

Live in the present. The past is gone and cannot be changed, the future is unknown to us all. Try and find joy in whatever you do.

Well I sent a note to my ex. Attached was a photo of a doll, the doll was gary the snail from spongebob.

The note was cutout letters from newspapers and it read "Take me back or gary gets it"

She was having none of it. She didn't know I was just joking, she was willing to let gary die.

Maybe you can figure out how to hostage her back into a relationship, good luck.

Focus on yourself: gym, yoga helps to concentrate, go somewhere with friends, maybe change a job.

Please do not look back. Move forward and be optimistic.

On the end: what doesn't kill you make you stronger!

Good luck!

The big D

Break ups are shit & only time will really heal it although getting stuck into friends & socialising helps dilute d pain.

Sounds like u think uv gotten d rough end but il ask did she know u were on fab the whole time?? I find there are 3sides 2every story, gets, urs & d truth, so reflect on what really happened & learn to live with d decisions of others.

Don't get rid of it... Embrace it and acknowledge that it hurts because it meant something. Learn, grow, evolve. Accept that it hurts now, but will hurt less over time, and that someday you may even look back in fondness. Take some time... remember how to be you and not 'us'... Everything is possible

It's shit, and it's going to keep being shit, for a while anyway.. You just have to grind out the days until its less shit.. The main thing is to get some closure, the quicker you accept that it's over the quicker you can move on.. Cut her out of your life, don't FB/Insta stalk her, block her everywhere and remove anything from your life that reminds you of here, if you keep scratching at the wound it will never heal.. Chin up buddy, you'll be ok

That's easier said than done though! Especially if he still has strong feelings for her

Depends on what the other person is to you and why the break up. Different people respond differently. Ignoring the pain and loss isn't a good thing, I believe it only prolongs it and it comes back unexpectedly. Accepting it and working with the pain is always better and the healing happens better and you become healthier too.

Today is a new day with new opportunities available to you. You've maybe friends whom you've neglected or things you've not been able to do until now. Look for them, engage and live today as if it may be your last but don't do things you'll regret if it's not your last. Don't be afraid to hurt though.

Actually, watch Swingers (it's not about swinging), it'll illustrate the process you're about to go through, and it's pretty funny too

No I don't think they meant you, just some other fella posting on your forum post

But I know you probably don't think it atm, but you do actually get over people you have broke up with, it maybe doesn't feel like that now, but at some point you will think less about that person and gradually the hurt goes away as you move one

"

very true
