South Donegal

There's lots to do in Donegal. Go visit Donegal Town which is about 20 mins drive from Bundoran, there's quirky shops and loads of great places to eat. Theres a Castle, an old Abbey and even a waterbus where you can go seal watching.

Or you could head for South West Donegal for the day which could take you some of the county's most scenic costal drives along the Wild Atlantic way taking in Killybegs, Kilcar, Carrick and make your way to Slieve League Cliff (the highest in Europe), Glencolmcille (theres a fantastic folk village and really cool stone map of Ireland). If you were to continue on to Ardara from Glencolmcille you'd be using The Glengesh Pass which is fun to drive! This is like a mini round trip and you get to take in quite a lot of our beautiful county.

Hope this helps and you enjoy your stay in coolest place on Earth!

Sligo is dead these days unfortunately, not really any where to go.

Hmmm ... you forgot to allow to walk to the top of Sliabh League and back, even from the easy side, Bunglas, that will be a few hours.

Glencolmcille itself would take up the rest of the day.

May as well make a nice weekend out of it and explore at your leisure
