I’m sooooooo looking forward to Pet Cemetery. It’s been a while since a good remake has been done. Okay IT and Evil Dead where rather good. What horror movie would y’all like to see rebooted and why?

I must watch out for that, I loved Freddy nightmares and chuckies childs play lol. I love a good horror, i enjoy saw, I find paranormal a bit of a bore. I think there is not as many good ones now that make me jump and close my eyes.

The Evil dead remake with the girl, I thought was barely average.

Ash vs Evil dead was amazing. Sucked so hard it got dropped.

Christine is being remade too. A load of carpenter films were bought to be remade. The Rock has the rights to Big Trouble Little China and will be remaking it but its been put on hold.

Prince of Darkness, and In the Mouth of Madness are both great and will probably be remade.

The problem with a remake is if you seen the original you sort of know how the remakes are going to play out. They try modernizing the story which some times dosen't work because the time period was part of the story. The new child's play Chucky going to be voiced my mark hamil which we know is famous for both Luke Skywalker and voicing the joker in games and cartoons. Most people are optimistic it will be ok but the same was said with jackie Earle Haley in nightmare on elm Street but that didn't go well.

I think chuckie was made to scare kids not adults, I think if you went back in time to when chuckie came out and went to the 34-50 year olds and asked them was it scary they would say no.

But most people seen it when they were between 10-15 years old.

These days they are weary of aiming such films at kids, and I know some films havd 18 year sticker on them, the days of kids sneaking into cinemas are gone etc etc.

These days the kids do the same with games instead of movies. In my opinion.
