Hey guys,

How often do you like to update your profile?

Is it better to keep it short?

Do you think that a bit of your life story, with all your do's and don'ts works better?

Do you always have the "magic word", mentioned at the end and ask people to use it when messaging you?

I am asking for a good friend here, who lately only atracted the "wrong kind", as the advice I kept giving him, didn't seem to help much.

I review ours regularly and change it according to my whims! Personally I don’t much like the ones that are clearly out of date or have the “magic” word requirement. I always read profiles anyway.

We update as needed, try to keep it short and to the point.

It's generally pretty obvious whether or not people have read it before messaging

Thank you for your advice Miss Bash, but my friend is blocked by pretty much every woman and couple profile here.

Do you think that updating his profile at this stage would help him much, or would it be better for him if he gives up all together and leaves Fab?

Don’t have much on mine bar pictures which I enjoy updating for myself. I’m not great with words so I tend to leave mine minimal your friend could take a leaf out of your profile it’s not bad but maybe bit more about him

My friend keeps asking me for advice, but I feel I am no good myself at giving any.

Maybe if he had a good think about what he wanted then he’d know what type he was hoping to attract... then tailor his profile to that type. Good friends are hard to find here he’s lucky lol

I think that my own profile was a very bad example for him to follow.

You've a point there... My filters are generally far more effective than expecting people to read and respect preferences.

Never read ‘em. Just ask ‘em if they fancy a fuck. 1 out of 10 say sure why not. Done.

I change my whenever I feel like it. Nothing dramatic tbh.

I like reading profiles of guys who have made a bit of an effort. Lol

Not a lot of male profiles to read then..lol!
