Have you got a side of the bed you sleep on? I sleep on the left but somehow ended up on the right last night and when MrB came to bed he didn’t move me over. I’m feeling very discombobulated this morning

Sleeping on wrong side of bed has absolutely nothing to do with discombolation... However if you got out of bed on wrong side..

Oh oh!...totally incompatible... Lover is a rightie... You forgot to fill in bed position status on your profile to avoid mismatch

Usually start off by sleeping on the right hand side but end up in the middle sprawled out like a starfish

Being right handed I sleep on the right ,so that when spooning I can use my right hand to reach over and pull her onto me

My mind was blown by when i found out that a man and a woman will instinctively pick a side of the bed. Men apparently will pick the side of the bed furthest from the door. Its a survival instinct thus keeping us out of danger. Generally we pick the side closest to the window, enabling a quick and easy escape. A woman on the other hand will instinctively sleep closest to the door incase for some reason she needs to get to her children quickly should an emergency situation arise or her kids are in trouble. Does this ring true to anyone

Was listening to something similar on the radio the other morning It’s definitely a thing. I have the bed to myself but will still sleep on the same side and face the same direction.

There is definately something in this. When i lived with my ex wife and kids i slept on the right side of the bed furthest from the door. Now that i live on my own i still sleep on the furthest side from the door despite it now being the left side of the bed.

Im left handed...left hand side for me...now...how Do you sleep...I literally have to be flat on my back..not my side...and my hands joined on my stomach....I'll be very comfortable in the coffin when I pop my clogs ????

your imagination

I always get in and out on the right... But literally sleep all over the bed

I actually find it virtually impossible to 'sleep' with anyone I move around an awful lot in my sleep, even just while drifting off, so I'm horribly aware that I might wake up my companion or keep them awake, and therefore end up wide awake all night and trying to stay still to allow them to sleep

As much as I love overnights and weekends, this is the bit that always worries me. I end up shattered through lack of sleep and not in a good way!! I have to really really really like someone and be very comfortable with them to share a bed for more than sex.

I love to cuddle and fall asleep in someone's arms as the small spoon, totally naked, but I can't share the bed with someone else, the whole night.

Years of sleeping on my own, probably made it impossible for me to have a good sleep, when I have to share my bed.

I still laugh when I remember a threesome a few years back with 2 single friends where we all slept in the same double bed afterwards.. I was in the middle trying not to wake anyone, my female friend on my right was starfished across half the bed, and slept like the dead, and my male friend on my left was spooning me while bracing himself with one foot against the wall so he didn't fall out... I thought he was being terribly affectionate as he was hugging me so close... Turns out he was hanging on for dear life!!

So do I when on my own, sleep on my left side, in the left side of the bed. I think it's because as a child, I slept in a bed which had it's right side up against the wall.

I sleep on the left edge of the bed, on my side, taking up as little room as possible, gripping the duvet in my hands as tightly as possible, with my back to the rest of the bed.
