would you do a spontaneous meet...within 1-6 hours of messaging someone, or do you value your safety more than satisfying that Instahorn.

or do you like to get to know people and build up some rapport first.

Op I think that depends on the person/coupe you and chatting with! If they are only a day on the site I probably wouldn’t due to the fake profiles but if they had being on a while and have seen them chatting in the forums and possibly had verifications then I don’t see an issue with it.

Ye ive chatted with someone in the morning and met them that evening turned out well but its only happened twice before

Seems quite rare on fab but another platform I used to go on I could get 3 or 4 meets a week after only chatting for a few hours and that was without pics being involved

I prefer to chat first to know the person better but if there is only tea chat? Why not?

Nope not for me. I need to suss a guy out a bit. I did it once before on another site and he was a weirdo, totally creeped me out. Safety first always for me.

I did it once a few years back... Got chatting to someone through a chatroom on another site. A married lady he knew was also in the chatroom and sang his praises, so I met him within a few hours of the first message as he was only an hour away and we were both off work... But I won't be doing it again as it was a monumental waste of time. Took me about an hour to get ready... Shower, tidy up any bits that needed tidying, wash and dry hair, put on a little makeup, pick out lingerie, stockings and outerwear, get dressed, a spritz of Issey, and away we go... Went to meet him, he was young, and good looking in a floppy haired Hugh Grant kind of way and we were both horny so happy days!! Except he barely lasted 2 minutes and then it was game over. Once he had finished, he was finished and that was that. He had no interest in sticking around and building up to round 2 or even making sure I was in any way satisfied. Obviously he was more used to being a party bull than actually knowing how to handle a woman on his own, but it was a day of good lessons for me:

1) Take adequate time to chat to someone and see if they really are compatible.

2) Don't pay any heed to someone else's 'recommendations', they may not have the same desires or drive as you.

3) Never ever wear high heels walking on gravel. To add insult to injury, I ruined a perfectly good pair of high heel boots that day

I like to get to know someone, other than the parties but even at that sometimes doesn't work for me either. I really like building the connection, trust, plus love the teasing part. Oral test is first lol

Coffee meets to me implies taking one's time. When OP mentioned Instahorn, I took it to mean play meets.

For me, I'm cautious. Veris, forum discussion, maybe pics, but they're not that important to me. Then, a little texting to see if we might be a match, and that might lead to an obligatory coffee met, and then see if we want more. Any time I broke my own rules, I kicked myself after, because it didn't work out well.

You can chat with someone for a week and still get the same result tho..

When i first joined fab i would have thought nothing of meeting someone spontaneously but now i wont go on last minute meets due to work and also that i prefer to get to know the person/s 1st x
