Just curious why the Irish forums are very quiet some threads are lucky to even get a look in is there a very little social side to us on here or what lol I'll be surprised if this topic gets any attention lol

Most hreads repeat themselves pretty much weekly like "why I can't get any meets" "why I can't get any responses" "why no men call themselves straight" "why nobody likes me" etc.

There's only so many times people bother answering the same question over and over again.

Also some threads don't get a look in simply because they don't interest anyone...

Smaller population means smaller amount of swingers and therefore very small amount of forum users... Threads move faster in the Lounge because more people use it. You forget that the entire population of Ireland is less than the population of London, or Greater Manchester... Simples!

I quite like thr slower pace of the threads in here.

I do pop into the lounge from time to time of its really dead in here and I am very bored.

I find some of the threads in there are a bit too frantic for.my little mind

I'm a Forum slut... I flit between here and the top 4/5 listed. I like the variety of opinions and experiences you get across multiple fora

I post occasionally in the Lounge if I see a topic of interest,I really never look at other forums.

I think there are too few people posting in the Ireland forum but lots of lurkers. C'mon people, don't be afraid to speak up, your country needs you!

I get a lot of 'reply privately' mail from folk who have been banned from posting on the forums. They've no choice but to lurk. It's a shame, as many of them have very interesting things to say. At the risk of provoking a ban for myself... Are permanent bans really a good idea? People and attitudes change, and as nobody was actually murdered doesn't a life sentence seem a bit OTT? Would parole after six months or a year served be worth a try?

Are there actually people who were so bad on the forums that not one single person would be happy to see them back?

I don't think the rules are excessive, far too many people seem incapable of debate without getting personal about it.

Most especially men who use the site don’t join for anything more than to find a meet it’s that simple. Most of the single men who post are usually told about it by friends who post so they can expand their (network). A lot of people not saying all who have tried to take part in discussions have been torn asunder because it’s more fun to belittle and make a joke out of people than it is to welcome them. And as said previously if your around here long enough it’s the same discussions over n over.
