There are objects in the universe moving away from us faster than their light can reach us therefor we will never ever be able to see or detect them.

Knowing that a quantum superposition means that particles are everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

And it's our minds that decide where they are at a given moment - do things dissapear or change their shape when we close our eyes and not think about them?

You've obviously not been reading the forums lately Missus. Little reality and mostly existentialist reality.

Nothing exists until it's consciously observed.

A person could go crazy thinking about quantum mechanics.

No object has colour.

What we perceive as colour is the light waves that reflect off an object.

"I'm constantly trying to get a close up photograph of the horizon"

You'll need a boat to get out far enough,.....or close enough. Wait how does it work?

Exactly. It's mind blowing that when you really think about it - we do create our own universe

All we are is individual expressions and thoughts of a universe trying to understand itself.

Did you know most sunset pics are actually a refraction on the sun below the actual horizon. The sun is touching the horizon when what we see is a whole sun above it.

The most popular theory is that sense the Big Bang, nearly 14 billion years have past. The if we saw the average human lifespan is 75 years then a human life would last .00000000000054% of this. I think we are all both blessed and hugely lucky to exist at all.

There is also a theory that instead of a Big Bang, the universe has gone through a series of expansions and contractions, like inflating and deflating a balloon, so there could be no way of telling how old the universe is.

And so much of our 'facts' are based upon it. What's that all about then?
