It sounds to me like nobody here has actually watched the documentary...

Jacko himself was exploited right until the day he died, the guy was not all there mentally. The children he allegedly abused were all initially approached by members of his staff, not him.

Theres never an excuse for this type of behavior, it's just a unique situation.

You could say he groomed the parents as well as the children... Have you not seen case after case after case after case where the abused children say nothing at all for years, decades . Have you not noticed that. All the major celebrity paedos- Saville etc, were not challenged for 30 years or more and he had hundreds of victims. Maybe educate yourself into the subject. Jeez.

I'm a huge Kylie fan but not in this lifetime would my daughter sleep in her room. And what about them letting him be around their kids after the allegations, after the pay offs. Nooooo.

I agree about it been done too late. I'd love to have seen the creep hunted down and jailed. As it was by the time he died he was on the run. Paying out tens of millions to victims isn't sustainable for any guy. No different than Jimmy Saville. These guys kept ahead of justice.

But to suggest that "he never was tried so we will never know" is daft. It's plain to see he was a serial abuser

Just a heads up for anybody who has 4 hours to waste to listen to people lie about being sexually abused, maybe you should get to know some facts first before letting the media give you a biased opinion.

For a start the alleged ‘victims’ have both previously swore under oath and signed declarations to say that nothing inappropriate ever happened.

Wade Robson, the self proclaimed ‘master of deception.’ His own Mother said he could get an Oscar for his lies, was a key witness in the 2005 trial and helped Michael be acquitted. He continued to praise Michael and use his name for his career until 2012 when work dried up. He even personally emailed Michael’s nephew and asked if him and his family could go to his memorial. He wanted to be successful and got the opportunity to be a film director of a dance film. It got too much for him so he tried to get a job on a famous Michael dance show called ‘One’ when they found someone who was more appropriate to replace him he turned sour and all of a sudden realised he was sexually abused for 7 years. If you do watch the documentary you will see him burn some memorabilia from Michael, it must be that repressed memory again because an Julian’s auction house came forward the day after it aired and said he had sold the items to them in 2011 and tried to remain anonymous but they wouldn’t allow it. ?? He tried to sue Michael’s estate for millions and it got thrown out of court as there is no evidence and he has left it too late, not to forget the fact he has previously swore under oath, which is perjury. The reason they have done the documentary is because they are now in debt to the estate and are desperate for people to believe them. That argument swings both ways, the FBI folllowed a man for 10 years with zero, nothing as evidence? You believe that? It means they found plenty as documented by them, including the sharing of beds, and adult material, alcohol etc etc etc

They found so much they spent 10 years trying to figure a way of making it stick in court and even brought him to court, but eventually ran out of options, as too much money had passed hands and too many people had perjured themselves.

United States v. Scheffer (1998), the US Supreme Courtleft it up to individual jurisdictions whether polygraph results could be admitted as evidence in court cases. Maybe not allowed here but America.

Just incase I'm coming across wrong. Definitely think there is some truth in it but at the same time I still think it's all about the money and what they can earn out of the situation now. At the time I think the parents should be accountable too. They basically sold their kids to Michael Jackson, a complete rich stranger

He was a definitely a paedophile..a very shrewd and cunnimg individual who ingratiated himself to his victims and their families..he was that good he was able to convince parents to leave their little boys alone with him for days on end..the reason people dont seem to believe he was a paedophile is because his victims dont seem to be damaged in any way..there were no threats of violence no rough treatment..it was sex abuse but done in a nicest way possible..hes that good that he can still fool people even 10 years after his death..unbelievable

They allow it because the test can come back in 3 states, Truth, Inconclusive, lie.

A normal person doing a test run by a proper expert can only ever hope to have the test marked inconclusive and will not be able to have a lie turned into a truth.

But inconclusive does not mean you cheated, it can mean you were nervous, or emotional etc.

So on a case by case basis they can decide what they want to do themselves. Often the police get guilty people to take one and fail it, just by suggesting it.

I'm not convinced he did do it. I'm not convinced that he didn't do it either.

An adult outside of family in the same bed as kids regardless of intent is wrong. I've no idea what actually happened in MJ's childhood so it's impossible to tell what impact it had on his adult life.

There is a lot of evidence that suggests theanjority of abusers were abused as kids themselves.

That does not mean the majority of abused kids go on to abuse either. 2 totally seperate statements.

Psychological consequences can manifest themselves in myriad forms of unhealthy/distressing behaviour.

I know a girl very very well who was forced against her consent in her teens to have sex but to this day sespite that experience wants it to be repeated and not in a roleplay type scenario. A lovely girl and outside of that admission doesn't have any other "peculiar" personality traits.

Abuse be it sexual/violent/emotional can literally change the neurological make-up of the person who suffers it. Without proper treatment it is very easy to see how individuals lead themselves down dark paths when from a young age they do not have the same societal norms the rest of the population adhere.

The shame and fear often stops people seeking help which indeed is self sabotage but understandable at the same time when experiences are opened up about.

The situation is grim if he did indeed do it.

If he didn't and the guys in the documentary are looking to make a few bob it is equally grim .

I haven't seen the documentary yet but once I do I shall add further opinion.

One thing I do know is that people can create documentaries to create any kind of bias or paint any kind of picture, if they do it well enough.

That's how media works, people open up their newspapers and swallow the bullshit they are being fed, (and without question, which is what makes it more scary).

Was Michael Jackson a paedophile or was he guilty? I honestly can't answer that question and I honestly don't know. I wouldn't leap on a bandwagon and say he was or wasn't simply because of wanting to believe either viewpoint.

One thing I can say is that he was definitely one of the greatest entertainers this planet has ever known and there are very few who can dispute that.

As for the rest, I shall come back once I watch the documentary rather than spouting off a biased opinion.

I'll start by quoting yourself. You pretty much think, therefore you've already admitted that it's your opinion. Walked backward? Anyone can do that. He danced and one of his renowned dance moves was the MOONWALK that took the world by storm.

Shit artist? Again, that's subjective opinion. His sales and history state otherwise.

This link details all his achievements. Number one singles, albums, top tens, sales volumes and so on.

Based on those achievements alone, breaking records and holding them, etc, for someone to say he was a shit artist, that is subjective opinion.

I can turn round and say I don't like Garth Brooks' music or any other artist or band but I can understand why his music appeals to other people even if I don't like it. It boils down to subjective opinion on what is good music or not, or who is a good artist or band or not but sales volumes and records speak for themselves.

In terms of that, there are very few that can dispute that Michael Jackson was one of the greatest artist' or entertainers that ever lived on this planet.

Did he deserve it? That's a whole different debate.

Was he a paedophile? Was he guilty? That's not my hill to die on.

One thing I can say though is that if he was guilty and he were still alive then he would deserve every punishment he got.

And whilst I would defend his achievements (as an artist) and his music i certainly would not defend his actions as a person or individual.

I saw some people defending jackson saying "well there are loads of kids that stayed in neverland that say he didn't abuse them so that proves he must be innocent" by that logic the church must be innocent too because there are loads of kids that say they didn't abuse them. I know this is quite pedantic but the head in the sand attitude of some of his defenders is mind boggling. Dude was warped its that simple regardless of how good his music was. His music touched many people as he did himself.
