I'm staying in Galway in a few weeks and hoping to catch one or two people for a drink. Can anyone recommend nice bars to visit? I'm staying near the docks/harbour area.

Plenty to choose from

An pucan

Front door

Kings head

The quays

The dail bar

Tbh spoilt for choice

So many to choose from but I always head to the West side of town

All very close to each other

Massimo (great food as well and late bar with music)

Blue Note

Róisín Dubh

Taylors (big smoking area if you smoke)

Monroes (usually have live music and the pizza is great)

Its well worth the trip I spent only one night there in snoozles opposite quays I didn't want to go home lol
