But blocking after the face pic ....... not acceptable.

"Sadly sometimes with experience women find it less complicated to simply block someone they're not attracted to. If you tell someone you don't find them attractive the risk is pretty high that they will not appreciate your honesty. Fact. So rather than risk either being told you're a fat old hag anyway and should be grateful that anyone would even mail you, or have someone whine and beg you to change your mind, its easier just to block. I haven't done it personally, but I can understand why some women do, especially if they have multiple convos going on with multiple potential meets. We live in a time where even employers rarely send out a 'thanks but no thanks' to unsuccessful applicants anymore, it's just the world we live in. It's about safety. If we wanted everyone to see our face - it would be made public. As ladies above said - being polite doesn't always end a conversation and it's frustrating to have so many threads going along the lines of "why don't you fancy me?" "Give me a chance" "I'm a nice genuine guy" etc. Block is just more efficient. It also stops that woman's account from popping up on that man's updates so they also don't get frustrated in future. | |||
