Fun with someone from the same town as you? Good idea or bad idea?

So, I have been chatting with this really sexy lady for over a year now. We get on well and have a good laugh in our messages. Only problem is she is reluctant to meet because we are both from the same town. My thinking on this is we are both discrete, certainly will not be talking to anyone ever on my fab experiences so why not meet and have some great fun?

Just wondering if anyone else was ever in the same situation? What happened and how it turned out?

You're both adults right? If somebody happens to find out ye hsve sex, I'm sure the world won't go up on flames. People don't care nearly as much about other people's lives as we think. Have at it!!!

I can see why she might be a bit reluctant so.....

As boring as her marriage is, maybe she just finds the fantasy appealing but doesn't really want to follow through with it?

Same town excuse seems a little bs to me unless it's a smallest town in a country

Doesn't matter how big or small the town is, if people have big mouths!! That's the real problem, I'm lucky to know a few locals as swingers but that's as far as it goes. The term Don't shit on your own doorstep, rings true for me. And personally for me I'd never go down that route

your imagination

I don't meet anyone close by. Met someone a couple of years ago just a half hour away and he turned into a complete creep. An hour away seems to be the magic distance. For a regular meet/fwb it's close enough to make spontaneous plans and do some quick prep beforehand if you both find some free time, but far enough away that they don't expect you to be at their beck and call, or keep turning up unannounced.

Fwb tried that once... He surprised me in the shower while I was shaving my pits... Not sure he's over it yet Normal service, ie, me being given ample time to prep and look fabulous before he arrives, was resumed very quickly

Both married? Best not go there, it could turn messy.

I would tend to agree with most of the advice you got here. Best not to take that chance.

You've not met each other. You've chatted for a year. Move on. You're wasting your time for her boredom relief.

Dublin 24

If the OH’s were to find out It could be very messy, might not be able to go shops, walk etc would be even worst if there’s kids involved.

Border Town

And that's why living in a county like Donegal where everyone knows everyone it's hard to get a meet

Any women in the NorthWest want to prove me wrong

If its a small town, she may also know you're wife. And I can understand her reluctance. Don't force the issue. You haven't met after a year of chatting, so it's time to walk away.

Too risky....

All is good till the consequences kick in.
