"bump Plenty of good bars in Cork. Depends what you are looking for. Some popular bars in Cork. SoHo - upmarket/posers pop music Brog - diverse crowd. Lots of spanish/european..plenty of Irish there too BDSM - very cool bar.. great alternative crowd.. small..music is rock'n'roll most of the time. Deep south.. mid 20s crowd...diverse nationalities.. popular with groups.. smoking area/beer gardem the spot to be. Plenty of heaters so no cpld. Anything from old 70s pop to modern day chart music. Ziggys's cool bar to go for one or two.. has a jukebox... tends to be an older crowd. Rob Roy / avoid. A complete and utter dump. Worst music system in Cork I'd say. Hum of sweat and feet in there. Reardens- biggest and busiest bar in the city. Tends to be jammed at weekends. Always live music on. Nightclub on same premises. Tends to be popular for big sporting events and hence depending on the game the place can be jammed early due to significance of a particular sporting event. Grand Central social... seems to be a 20s/30s crowd when I have been in . Even mix of men and women. Nice bar too. New.. well laid out plenty of space.. nights I have been has been a lot of 90s /early 2000s music played. Oliver plunkett- typical diddly -i bar where tourists flock. Always live music for foreign tourists mostly. The oyster- very classy spot. Really nice bar . My favourite interior of any bar in the city. More relaxed/chilled vibe in there. Tends to be 30s and up in thete in my experience. Crane Lane - good bar.. has a lot of latino presence in their clientele. Caters to that crowd quite a bit musically. That's just a few but plenty of decent bars around. All those are in main social parts of the city.. there are also good bars on the putskirts in the likes of McCurtain st.. Barrack st . Hope you enjoy your trip !" Wow, I want to go to Cork now too

" You're very welcome xx Is The Wash still going strong? " I'd have to assume so ! I haven't been in there in 12/18 months at a guess but certainly a popular bar too !
