So I'm thinking about getting a projector for my room as some of them are essentially the same price as a TV, Does anybody already have one and have any advice, or does anyone know of a good website where I might get one

Budget for a pull down screen too, a screen can be 300/400 on its own.

You can paint a wall with special paint for a better picture too.

At the minute it's just a massive blank white wall so I'll chance it without the screen for now, and then maybe invest

I got my projector off amazon and use it against a blank wall. The projector was about 120 euro, hums a little but picture is good.

The price of a Projector depends on how sharp you want the picture and how quiet you want the background hum...

Forget about a screen if you've a blank wall though...

That's pretty good, only wouldn't mind the hum as I'd be watching Netflix or movies on it either way, just thought it might be something different and try to save space instead of trying to get a TV and TV stand

You can either order a "projector stand" but I've the projector hoisted up on a small table beside the sofa and fed into the amp on my separate system but add in a pair of cheap speakers with a bit of bass and you're sorted

I have a 4k Sony projector and it's amazing. Honestly anything under 1080p is a waste of money as it's just not good enough any more. Alot of the cheap projectors advertise on Amazon as HD projectors but they are not. It just means they can take a 1080p signal and downgrade it to 480p. If you want a good set up pay a decent price
