Do you ever see a couple out and about and just wondered how they possibly ended up together? Or indeed in your circle of friends? It’s something that really fascinates the nosey ninny in me!

Yup often. One friend in particular. Her husband is the complete opposite to who she would be attracted to when she was younger. He's a lot older and nothing like her previous partners, but they're together a long time and very happy.

I often think that. Especially when I read a lot of guys here saying they can't get dates, either on fab or in a club. Everybody ends up with somebody(mostly). I often wonder why or how some people stay in such oddly mismatched relationships, but there is the mystery in attraction.

Yes I have a friend that we all think how they got together, she’s good looking, great fun from Russia, he’s the opposite not that nice, bad jokes, no conversation. We thought they got married for the papers, but that was about 10 years ago, they still married with 2 kids.

I guess everybody just looks for different things in a life partner. I see the men some of my friends are with and I don’t think I’d cope but no doubt some feel for my poor husband having to put up with me as a wife but I guess there is someone for everyone

Chemistry is such a hard thing to figure out though - you can see why its so tough to get chemistry between 2 couples, let alone 1

I remember a woman I used to work with literally being followed by a client on our staff nights out. He'd hang out with the group, but the poor girl couldn't even go to the bar, toilets or smoking area without him checking to see where she was End of each night, he'd be in her face talking and it was fecking creepy to watch

Shortly afterwards they went out and now are married with 2 kids. Met him at a gym after and he says...

"Oh she's doing a yoga class now while I train. We kinda need to give each other some space"
