Starbucks name on the cup

Do you give your real name when ordering your coffee?

I gave up as they would asked me about 3 times and still get it wrong, so now I just say my name is Joe!

I loved giving difficult names to pronounce for the giggle but don't like the coffee so stopped going.

Count yourself lucky,you've a universal name whereas I've an Irish name. America last summer was a feckin nightmare.

Nope. Throwing up technicalities isn’t going to get you out of this one. Its all in the small print, but i can let you use it free of charge on Tuesdays, Monday evenings and maybe the odd Friday afternoon...

Had a bit of fun with it in the states last year. Just my silly humour really.

I had a fab coffee meet a while ago and the guy I was meeting didn't know my real name as I'd given something different. Totally scuppered myself there with my plastic cup and my name emblazoned across it.

Near Enough

I much prefer going to a nice coffee shop where I can sit down and someone comes and takes my order and I can drink it in peace. Yes I am good to myself .

As for using my real name, most people I work with get my name wrong on a regular basis, either misspell, mispronounce or call me a completely different name altogether. Must use my fab name next time though

there was an article somewhere that actually said they get the name wrong on purpose. something with you going back time and again to see if they get it right this time. personally that wouldnt bother me as i just want my mocha

I heard a rumour that was done on purpose, as people would post a pic of it online that will mean free advertising, on most pics you will see the logo or mention the name.

I sometimes make names up. Though they did spell Sean as Shone one time. Still got my coffee
