Should fab get rid of it? Is it a waist of time sending a winking to someone?

90% of the people I send a wink to never reply.

Is it a waist of time??

No it does get responses... wel at least I tend to reply to people who wink me that I like.

Sorry but just sounds like 90% of the people you wink either dont fancy you or want a little more effort made in your approch

You can make an effort in the msg when you text someone, im just asking if the wink button is a waist of time?

The alternative is you would have to msg them which is more intrusion if a guy winks me and I check there profile Ian’s if he sounds nice I wink back if don’t like sound of him I don’t , if you had to msg them and you then didn’t get back they would then say your rude , I think winks is a good idea

Women usually get bombarded with messages and winks on a daily basis. Would they even notice a wink?

We ignore winks. If I were interested in someone I would message them, it's not that difficult.

I agree, I would imagine that a lot of winks go unnoticed

I think it is a useful tool to have on here. It's a bit like a quick hello or hi. A lot of the time it probably goes unnoticed but every new and again I get a wink back and that's when you might have caught their eye and I would then mail them.

I would leave it well enough alone.... It's not doing any harm is it??

It seems some find it useful and others don't. Like other featured on the site, if it suits you, great, if it doesn't work for you, you can just avoid it. So no need to get rid of it.

The last time i used the wink button there was 3 of us in canteen @ work within touching distance i was blocked by them ( a couple) a bit childish
