Hey Irish Fabbers

So after a clever advertising campaign I managed to get a meet whilst in Dublin.

The build up was electrifying as our chats engaged our minds. Plans were changed so she could meet me. Butterflies lived in my stomach all on the day of the meet.

Hours turned into minutes before the meet. She arrived we went to my room. We had a glass of wine. And when I suggested for her to get changed to play she reluctantly said I wasn’t the type she normally goes for and left.

She told me before the meet that she had a couple of meets and when she arrived she didn’t feel it with the guy and left. But said that wouldn’t happen to me.

So it seems you can make someone’s brain into mush with online chat but if the eyes dont like what they see it’s not going to happen.

In the words of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman she has made a BIG mistake. A BIG BIG mistake. I hope she wakes up this morning with the biggest regret.

Anyway thanks Dublin for what could has been.

I sincerely hope that is not the case.... Regardless of whether she left you with the biggest case of blue balls you ever may have had.

Surely it was HER choice and she exercised that by leaving.

This is the whole point of a social meet surely. Going alone with a stranger to a hotel room and then rejecting them isn't a good idea in my book.

It's the case for sure that you learn more in a handshake than in 6 months of online texting. And the op is right online text can get so hot and heavy we forget we don't know the person from Adam.

Fair dues to you for taking the rejection on the chin and not getting stroppy. Its everyone's decision whether or not to proceed.

Think you probably have realised for next time a coffee meet first is an excellent first meet. It will tell you if there's a spark and between then and that bedroom meet the texting will be even more fun.

Yeah, the whole changing to play thing seemed surplus to requirements for me as well. The whole idea of her getting naked and then putting something else on would be messing with my head altogether.

I don't think that suggesting that it was time to "get into something more comfortable" was the problem. That was a symptom. Clearly the click didn't happen for her.

Much better to have these glasses of wine in the bar first.

I'd also be wary of meeting someone who clearly isn't that good at working out what she wants.

OP it does not sound like she was reluctant to leave(she left). You didnt give her the chance to connect when you suggested she change,, Bad move on your part. The tone of your post gives the impression of a bitter rant brought on by rejection. Get over it and move on.

2nd was....

Hasn't sexual attraction always been a mix of phsycial and intellectual.

I mean if a hot lad or lass was insulting and had no charm would you sleep with them, or, if a person you didn't fancy was really good fun would that tip the scales.
