When looking at a profile, i will check published verications of the lady click on the guy and say oh for fucks sake i look nothing like him naked?

Human nature to compare ourselves I guess, we are all different and all have our own good and bad points, at this stage of my life I know I'm unlikely to make it as a supermodel, no point stressing over things I can't change.

Everybody will put their best pic up here, to display themselves in the best possible way. But, our bodies change all the time, from lean teens, to toned early twenties, to pregnant bellies, dad bods, back to toned with stretch marks. And scars. Balding, hairy, blond, grey,.. But we'll only display our best pics. So, if you want to feel great about your body image, OP, arrange a pro photo session. You'll get some great pics,and will look fantastic. And if you don't want to go the pro route,... Many up market beauty shops, will do your (man's) makeup for free (grafton st), and get a friend to take some head shots. Because you're worth it.

Haha yeah, I've done that with profiles that catch my eye.

And I will admit that if it's a consistent list of six packs and muscles I kinda just accept that my bit of excess around the middle probably won't cut it and I move on

However, if a chat is established with a lady and we're clicking, it doesn't really affect me.

I actually make a point of NOT looking at the profiles of previous hook ups. I am me.... "dad bod" and all..... Definitely not a gym bod.....but I bring what I have /am to a potential meet.

I don't see any point in comparing myself with anyone else.

I read the veris and check out the profile of who has given them but it wouldn’t stop me from messaging. We’ve met lots of different personalities and body types so I figure other people might like to mix up their choices once in a while too!!

Too nice of you to say.... That's been achieved by many weekends of gin and food and the occasional horizontal jogging marathon
