How long do they last ?

I’m only on here very infrequently these days , and to my horror have noticed loads of my old messages have disappeared !!!! Eeeeeek , what can I do ? Nothing I’m thinking . Does anyone know how long do messages last ? And do they only disappear if they haven’t been read , or do they all self destruct eventually ? I’m very sad now

you can save them I think , others disappear , I don't get many am safe lol

I think as a site supporter they do not get deleted ever

Some have definitely gone missing , maybe that’s why there’s an option to save messages. Sadly I’ve lost loads now and because I’m hardly on here , they’re people I was messaging ages ago

They last 5 weeks, on the 6th they get deleted.

It can make finding people and remembering what you talked about hard after a little break.

All mail to and from unlos also get deleted as far as I know

I don't know to be honest it's 6 weeks or so , but they seem to stay on , if we are on more

I have one message from 2yrs ago, another from a year ago and lots from 3mths ago.

I've never hit Save on a message, so I don't know why some stay and others don't.
