If you have a banking app it should allow you to pay into someone else’s account if you have their IBAN number

Yeap both parties must be on PayPal for it to work, it's fully secure and not hard to set up an account so just get the other person to register only takes a few mins.

PayPal is secure but their rate of exchange is low & then as you have an AIB account you're going to get bank charges. When I last used PayPal for international payment sterling was at .91p to euro and they were giving .85p.
