Everyone is here to suit themselves. If you or op isn't happy with the way others filter through people they would or wouldn't be interested in - then move on to a profile that doesn't ask for a face picture upfront. Easy peasy. He has the same choice,everyone has,the choice to send or not.
We make it clear on our profile,if a guy wants to meet us he has to send a face pic.we also tell him we won't be sending ours.
He now has the choice to ask to meet us or not.
