I recognized someone here, not really someone I know but more a friend of a friend. I stupidly mailed them and said are you blah blah, they said no so I thought ok my mistake. Then they came back and said how do you know I'm blah blah. I said you came up on Facebook on my recommended friends list as your friends with someone I know. I'm sorry I did so, I really just wanted to get a chat with her and who knows as she seems nice, but I think I scared her off. Needless to say I won't be recognizing anyone else again on here

Yes,

We've bumped into friends and work colleagues on here at parties, clubs and meet&greets..

Just went up to them and said hello and confirmed that were all here for the same reason and discretion is guaranteed. We've never had any drama from it

1. Are you blah blah? (Never a good idea).

2. Hi, I'm such and such and I know you from there and there.

Both happened to me, all the first ones are blocked tho (I dont play "I know you are but you don't know who I am" games

I think we'd prefare to be told if someone on here new us.

Exactly. Don't think many people would mind that much getting recognized as long as they knew by who and that person would be up front about it

A lecturer from college recognized me at a meet and greet. Lets just saw the next Monday morning lectures were pretty awkward in a good way.

Was once recognised in a shopping centre and then followed around. Wasn't a nice experience especially as I had a child with me. Ended up getting out of there. The guy had no concept of privacy at all. Carmel x

Yeah tbh I didn’t have a clue what to do. I just ignored messages. Sometimes I worry that if you block someone will they then feel the need to retaliate

Nothing worse than being recognised but they don’t tell who they are. Certain person in Ballyclare does it all the time

In the past I’ve sent face pics to people and they have replied with my real name but refuse to tell me who it is..

A town near you

We seen neighbours on cam, well they live about 1/4 of a mile from us. Obviously pissed up as she let the laptop slip a few times and exposed her face several times. We never said anything to them on here or otherwise. We always have a laugh to ourselves when we meet them in the street or pub

Yes quite a few times on plenty of fish I'm asked if I'm the girl on fab, I always say yes but I'm shocked as to how the connection as none of the photos are used in both.

We have come across 6 profiles on here who we know and meet someone at party . Thankfully only two profiles know us and one of them are just over the road a couple of miles but are very discreet about there extra curricular activities like ourselves.
