Not a happy thread, alot if relationships come to an end and when we're closed to that or struggling what heart break songs do you listen to? Imelda may on jools holand, black tears had me in tears... Amongst a few other of her heart break songs

Well I've only had the one serious relationship before I met Niall

It wasn't a happy relationship and I'm the one that ended it. So I didn't really have any heartbreak over it as he had killed off any feelings I had for him by the time I ended it.

But he used to send me voicemails of the song Your Beautiful by James Blunt. Followed by texts that he was crying listening to it because it made him think of me.

I told him a way for him to stop crying was to stop listening to the song

I didn't listen depressive songs at all. Its not end of the world. Of course the life will change but thinking positive is an attitude and you are the winner!

Mine used to be almost all heavy metal/Irish Slow tracks that they wouldn't be familiar with, so kinda had to listen to the lyrics.

I seem to recall one or two actually had the desired effect, though most fell on deaf ears.

I'd still love the tapes back and, perhaps, one or two of the recipients
