A man comes home from work each day, goes into his apartment block. enters the elevator and presses the button for the 9th floor , he gets out on the 9th floor and goes to his apartment. He does this Monday to Thursday.

On Fridays he gets out on the 7th floor walks up the two flights to his apartment.

Why does he do this only on a Friday?

He is a dwarf. Durning the week he brings his work home with him so he puts his stuff on the ground and stands on it. On friday he brings no work home with him so he can’t reach the 9th button

Very close, Fridays is the Bell Boys day off so being a dwarf and without the aid of the Bell Boy he can't reach the button for the nineth floor.

Dude, that can't be.

HE presses the button for the 9th floor. If it had said that he gets the elevator to the 9th floor. Then your answer could stand but as it is. It doesn't have the evidence to support it.
