"Anybody use them?"

Not personally they are usless for the type of training I do.

I have recommended them for some older adult groups I work with amd they are great for that

Yes, fine for casual use but if you are serious about something like running then the garmin ones would be better suited.

Do they set out workout programmes for you?

No. You can set it to start/stop logging different exercises so that it determines steps better, but otherwise it will just say that it logged so many minutes of circuit training, weights, spinning, sports, etc.

The closest some fitbit's do for instructions is breathing exercises to help you meditate and relax.

No, but you can get those online easy enough

I use one. Surprised me when i first got it, how sedentary i was! It can be an eye opener

Are you looking for it for a specfic use?

There might be better and cheaper options if you want to share

Nothing specific. A relative has one that monitors BP HR and oxygen levels. Wondered how accurate it was

They are as accurate as any other product, obviously not as accurate as a doctor visit

But you will deffo spot upward or downward trends as far as the hr and bp go.

Not sure about the spo2 reads on them

I don't have one but a lady fab friend does and when we having an amazing hot session going hard at it suddenly her Fitbit started beeping and flashed on its screen "CONGRATULATIONS" telling her she had reached her best exercise session....LOL!
