Yeah they are brutal at the moment and have been for a couple of years now but football is cyclical and they'll come good again in time, every big club goes through bad times, city, Chelsea, and Liverpool all have done so, along with arsenal....proper supporters stick with their club through good and bad and while all plaudits go to clubs who are experiencing good times our day will come again

The last time Liverpool won the league Margaret Thatcher was still in power. 28 years ago.

That was the old first division, before the Premiership even was launched.

Liverpool fans were all over social media on Sunday evening acting like they had won the premiership already.

They need to be extremely careful they don't do another Stevie G and let it slip or else they'll be the laughing stock once again in Utd supporters eyes

And do all Liverpool supporters and supporters of other English clubs come from Liverpool and the UK?

There are thousands of supporters of English clubs in Ireland, all perfectly entitled to support who they want to.i have been going to League of Ireland games regularly since the early 80s so it's not as if I don't put the time in

2.Enrique joined Barcelona, won treble and left

3.Zidane joined madrid, won ucl thrice and left

4.Ranieri joined Leceister, won epl and left and has returned to the epl again

5.Conte joined Chelsea, won epl and fa cup, left

6.Pep won Bundesliga, left, won epl and efl cup

I know it’s hilarious any supporters under 40 all jumped on the bandwagon. This is the longest they’ve ever went in their lives without seeing their club win a league title, it must be gut wrenching especially seeing their neighbours become the top team In English football. United are now City’s noisy neighbours.

At least Liverpool supporters are used to their team not winning anything, but going from winning titles almost every year for 20 years to winning nothing and spiralling down the table must be soul destroying. Maybe that’s why they don’t go to the pub to watch games anymore or have vanished of all social media

2 leagues....and a couple of minor cups...also relegated a team as manager

In his 3 years at Liverpool...Nada, didley squat...

Unlike the Special One, who won 3...

Different clubs...different expectations....however I do accept they now play a better style of football.

What if Solskjaer wins the European cup?...will he get to stay or will utd do a Chelsea?

Yes let's stop the export of Irish players to the English leagues as well.

While we are at it,let's erase the memory of all the great Irish players that played across the water.

Giles,Brady,Keane,Best,Jennings.

What were they thinking plying their trade over there when they could have stayed and played in the Irish leagues.

Would that appease all you bitter sports fans?

Haha how did this thread turn into a what have Liverpool won lately thread? Jose won 3 cups. Can ye honestly say ye would prefer to win the carling cup and finish 6th in the table?? There are only 2 comps that matter these days and that the league and the champions league. Nobody gives a flying fuck about the rest. The fa cup used to be a great comp until Utd went on their winter holidays to Brazil and didn't play in it the year after they won it.Now its a nothing comp. At this moment in time Liverpool as a club as a whole are in a faaaaaaar better position than utd. It's now a graveyard for managers. Like the new chelski. It took ferguson 6 years to win his first cup with utd. Klopp is in his 3rd full year. He has turned the club around. Got rid of all the dead wood. Which there was alot and now built the best squad we have had in the last 30 years. They might not win the prem or champions league but at least they are challenging. That is a hell of alot more than what utd are doing at the moment. Whether they admit it or not i reckon 90% of utd fans would love to have Klopp. What makes ye even bigger hypocrites is that ye are willing to pay more than anybody has ever paid for a manager to get Poch from spurs. With all the talk of what has Klopp won?How much has he won in his time?? Ye had it to good under ferguson for too long and are now starting to sound like liverpool fans did for the last 20 years. Ye are starting to live in the past. You can almost taste the bitterness off ye. And it tastes FANTASTIC

You can't compare Klopp to Ferguson , not yet. Although I do admit I'd prefer Klopp to anyone whom managed Utd since. With the exception of Solskier, my only solskier who makes us happy, though sky's are grey...
