Christmas Tree

So this year I purchased a new Christmas tree

Opened it this evening to get the decorating started

Only to discover, my new tree is to be put together branch by branch

So,, I did what every tired and fed up mother does at that stage

I sat back with a cuppa and directed my 2 teenage sons on assembly of the tree

It's finally up now for the foreseeable and I have to say it looks stunning

Is everyone happy with how your tree has turned out this year?

Or have you even got yours up yet?

Tina

I've the tree and a couple of Merry Christmas signs and that's it

I used to go to the lengths of decs hanging from the ceilings, tinsel over the pictures

But I couldn't be arsed anymore

Dunboyne & Dublin

Doing it this weekend. 12ft of the most realistic fake tree I've ever seen. Cost £200 but we've had it at least 5yrs, so it's definitely paid for itself at this stage.

I'm still dreading the thoughts of the 800 lights though

A real tree for us love the pine smell. First hint of Xmas when the tree comes in the door and that scent hits the nostrils

Held a quick poll in the car this morning with the teens and it looks like the tree is doomed to another year in the shed
