Really depends on what you are looking for in terms of pub atmosphere/music and food.

The Cathedral quarter has plenty of good spots.

Live music but mid week probably not much on. Somewhere lively want to have fun lol

Several places have live music surprisingly and of all types.

The empire : music hall

Harp Bar

The points

Thirsty goat

Black box Green room

Beets jazz bar

The Sunflower (ukulele night .. Tuesdays , personal fan for some lite craic )

Absolutely tonnes.. :~)

Cathedral quarter as already mentioned has loads of good bars and restaurants.

If staying closer to the train station, then there a Robinsons/Fibbers and the Crown, further up you have the infamous Benedict's which always had a decent crowd.

Closer to the city centre is Granny Annie's and Cuban Revolution

Spoilt for choice!

The Harp bar and thirsty Goat have live music on 7 nights a week.....both will be a bit quieter mid-week of course but Harp is usually very busy Thur to Sunday

for food, really depends on budget...if you want something more expensive you got the likes of James st south, Café Parisien, Tedfords or Deans....for something more reasonable but still nice, Holohan's at the Barge, Made in Belfast, Home or Coppi are all good options

We went in around lunchtime yesterday and it was lovely and relaxed, and definitely have my wits about me in places where pick pockets can b rife.

Was a lovely few days and will definitely be back again.

Had a lovely time, we totally chilled out. Didn't check out night life but will definitely be back to visit

Not live music..but the best bar for tunes is The Spaniard. Also in the cathedral quarter n close to live music places like Harp Bar, Tipsy Bird etc.

You'll be spoilt for choice. My choice would be 44 Hill Street for food (The food is amazing) then a bit of a bar crawl around that area. Duke of York is a great place to start your drinks.

I was there ...awful weather wonderful atmosphere and snells. Went to the kitchen then on to a cuban fusion night club for dancing. Beautiful wonen dancing in proper salsa outfits. Then back to the hotel for singing and drinking . Residents bar

We stayed in a great air bnb , 270 for two nights between 4. Apartment was amazing. We didn't go mad so didn't spend much. Well worth a visit though

Dont change money just take it out of the hole in wall. Honestly its worth loosing the few bob. Food was resonable as was drink. House of fraiser is still when i win the lotto goals ....kate spade section is to die for
