What's the worst that has happened to you on the way to a meet?

Currently I'm sitting at the side of the road, after having a blowout

Waiting on a 24hr tyre call out.

I once got stuck behind a tractor and a row of cars. I ended up 5 minutes late which really annoyed me as I pride myself on my punctuality.

No it has a puncture too. They couldn't repair it last week and I was waiting to get one.

Most modern cars don't. I'm not flashy enough to have a modern car but I make sure to check the spare before embarking on a meet.

No it has a puncture too. They couldn't repair it last week and I was waiting to get one. "

Just a heads up, you will get another puncture next week, so id make sure you have a spare. Dont know why, but they do happen in 3s.

Some guy I was chatting with for ages..

sent me a vid message on kik of him at the side of the road (apparently) post tyre blow out...

Never heard from him ever again.

I text him, called him., poof.. gone..

I do wonder...

I once had a meet and we took a spin to a quiet country area. I ended up getting my car stuck in a ditch and had to get toed out by a tractor ....hilarious meet

Hope you've messaged your meet and explained. Then again she may see ythis post and know I guess.

My worst? Probably my latest last Saturday. Been chatting for months with a lady and finally arranged a proper meet. I'd tickets for the Ideal Home Exhibition which I'd mentioned a few weeks before to my daughter as she's studying environmental issues and construction. She wasn't interested then. Last minute on Friday my youngest calls and says dad can I come to the IHE with you. What do I do? Well bite the bit and say yes and phoned my meet to rearrange.
