Alas I don't have that problem cos no one will meet me

I'm lucky if I get a reply to a message I send without it getting deleted straight away or getting blocked

But that must be very annoying if you've gone to the trouble of actually arranging a meet,giving up your free time for same.Mmm I reckon I've been blocked more times than my sink

Yes blocking or deleting is bad but sitting waiting for a no show is not nice.
