Not really fab related but anyone know roughly how much to get a Ford car key cut/ replaced, car keys broke in door and I hope to get it out can I get it cut so anyone know?

Go to that place at clondalkin .if you need them to come out about 300 . I went out to them with a broken key. 180 . To get to them go on over fly over and take next exit back to town and they are on the exit into clondalkin .

Was on to ford 90 euro but need to get car to next town and it will be extra for them to get key out I hope to get it out myself.

Got key out just to get it to castlebar now the Ford dealer reckons I need to bring car over for key to be mapped but it's just a normal key with no botton

You can usually buy a blank key and case online very cheaply, have the blank cut to suit at any key cutters, and transfer the internal chip to new case.

Cannon Go to a locksmith shop i asked question in rapid locksmiths across the road and said there is no problem as long as u have both bits and not dear main dealer will rob u

Cannon Go to a locksmith shop i asked question in rapid locksmiths across the road and said there is no problem as long as u have both bits and not dear main dealer will rob u"
rang a few and they don't do it one of them will charge 95 euro and it only mite work, the ford dealer is 90 which is not to bad thought it would be more. A mite is sorting a transporter for me in the morning so will just go with that.

got Charing to a mate and after watching a few videos going to get a plan key cut only costs about 30 and then move the chip myself

Hope you get sorted. I’ve used the ford dealer in Castlebar & find them very decent and good pricing there also.... Did you get sorted?
