These guys then clear off after a couple of days of not getting what they were expecting. That leaves the likes of myself, who will send a message based on what I've read on a profile and sounding as decent and as charming as I can to spark a conversation, and I'm lucky to get the person to view my profile let alone reply. It is what it is though, just keep your filters up OP and look out for the good ones, there are still a few around

Hmm possible but I doubt it.

Look I know exactly how it feels when you get one of those stupid messages that presses the wrong button and that annoyance just wants to come out in the next message. I get them too. However I normally take a deep breath and stay cool and polite in my reply. It works wonders I very very rarely get insulting or abusive messages. Once you bring in the aggressive undertone yourself, you've lost the game.
