Leinster v Munster

Can someone explain to me why so many people from Leinster support Munster.Surely it cant still be about Dublin 4 in the modern day game??

I'm not a big supporter of rugby. But I think you are right .it's the dublin..4 think .Leinster were always perceived to be posh private school boys .in other words up their own arses.and Munster were the working man's team ....maybe it has changed

Live in leinster but played senior club munster rugby when i was younger and followed munster ever since then

Munster rugby is more of the working mans club, Limerick rugby has aside from Garryowen always been a working mans sport. Maybe that's why more relate to them.

Also there's an awful lot of people from the Munster region that live in Dublin and we don't like to lose our heritage

Don’t think that’s the case anymore. Was possibly when Munster were doing well over ten years ago..... good game tonight. Leinster rested a host of first team players and still held off a pretty fully loaded Munster team.
