Stood up

Make a long story short , met a lady on here when I joined up spoke on phone texted a lot an then decided to meet coffee at first which was a great social meet for us both sparks flew which we both agreed on fast forward arranged to meet for some fun so I booked hotel nice bottle wine waiting in the room texting each other all day an about 15 mins to our arranged time BOOM she's gone off the site no texts tried calling her phone nothing straight to voicemail I sent a few more texts to which no reply lol I'm confused about it all plus I drove 3 hours to meet her can any ladies on here help me get an answer because I'm stumpped lol

Cheers just makes me think as to why would anyone do it to people we are all here for the same reasons were all adults it took me 2 weeks to arrange everything I'm sure I'm not the first an sounds like I won't be the last by a long shot

It’s just an occasional downside to the site. Sometimes there are genuine reasons other times it’s just time wasters.

You gotta just Suck it up and move on....(pardon the pun)

That really leaves a hateful feeling. Though it's hard there's little you can do about it. And it can happen again unfortunately. I've had that happen 3x and then decided no longer meet those who cannot accommodate unless they booked the hotel and I see the booking. Needless to say I've not met in a hotel with a fabber in over 2 yrs now as ladies don't like to book the hotel often for similar reasons.

It's a real shame as it ruins it for many... But it's too costly a risk on here. Never had it happen with anyone except from fab.

Did kinda put me off was thinking about leaving the site but then again on the flip side why let someone else's ignorance ruin your chances of meeting some great people if I had gotten a text saying oh I changed my mind or cold feet Anything at all but to just go blank that kinda annoyed me to be honest

Who knows. Can't say she's a fake because they had a coffee meet. Cold feet maybe. Chose to delete profile. As you say this place is gull of strange people.

There are many who don't. They'll cancel and block. There's nothing fab can do about it either. They can be banned but that doesn't work as they just open new account, new name different pic and reappear. They only get caught if someone who both recognises them and knows they were banned then reports and even then it's not as clearcut as one thinks.
