Does it bother you?

Do you use it?

What does it actually mean in your opinion?

Personally I think it's often used on women harshly and lots feel it to be degrading. What's your view

Its degrading if its used in everyday speak. Some people use it in role play ... if thats what you enjoy ...then use whatever language you want

We love it.

Without trying to sound too cheesy, but for us it signifies freedom.

Its the context isn't it ... in general speak saying 'she's a real slut' isn't nice. But I love being called slutty or a slut in the right context but I like to choose that for myself rather than a guy calling me it unsolicited.

In normal conversation, would never use or call a woman that...

But behind bedroom doors, have found a few women want to be called that in order to access their "bad girl" side

So in a colloquil setting, absolutely not...

...but in heat of passion to enhance a filthy fantasy, Absolutely!

I don't like the c word not even in the heat of passion. Vulgar language doesn't do anything for me unless it's in French.

Niall calls me a slut sometimes in the bedroom (or wherever we're getting down to it )

In that context and from him, yes I take it and can find it arousing

But if someone on the street called me a slut I'd knock their teeth out

My sentiments exactly!

I would never dream of using it outside the bedroom to refer to anyone.

I love it but only in the context of your play. Such play times, the word slut is tame in my mind.

I agree, not a word i would use to often. But in context can be provocative

This seems to be a good place to point out that there's an updated edition of "The Ethical Slut" out since 2017. Essential reading for anyone interested in non-monogamous relationships but who also doesn't want to fuck people ariund/be fucked around.

In normal vanilla life I don't like it at all.

In play i love it, and as someone else said.... in an open relationship it can mean freedom. So like anything, it's your perspective
