However posting a thread seeking female/male attention automatically comes with a deep screening of the op's profile. (caveat: op's beware, it can backfire on you, make sure your shop window looks and sounds inviting).

Thats fair enough and to be expected, but i cant see why people cant move along without the need to say something smart/unhelpful leading to the thread being ruined for the Op

Some find the balance hard, some can't and most ignore. 5 % post on forums, maybe 70% read and watch, 30% can't be arsed.
