I’m curious girls how many of you would be comfortable with this situation.

Chatting on here then chat moves to kik. Arranging coffee meet and you decide to break one of your rules and allow it to happen at your home.

You then decide that it’s not a good idea and ask to meet at a coffee shop, explaining your reasons for wanting this i.e safety etc

Guy refuses to meet unless it’s at my house which I refuse him on.

So....was he right to insist, considering I said it was ok originally or was I right to suggest meeting in public when I felt uncomfortable about it??

You have the right to change your mind.

Breaking your own rules sometimes works sometimes it doesn't.

But safety should always come first.

As for him being insistent, nah, move along.

My town

You go with your gut op and don't feel pressured to meet in your home which is your home and for safety reasons I would advise no one to meet someone First in your home. I would say lucky escape if he now wishes to cancel cause of it

From a male perspective, I think you were totally 100% right if the guy in question can't understand that, he's got a problem perhaps when he thought it was coffee at yours he was expecting much more than coffee perhaps.

That’s the thing......I NEVER do that and when I realised that agreeing to it was making me really uncomfortable I spoke up.

He just made me feel like I was wrong

I think perhaps your right and that’s what maybe caused him to react as he did.

Lesson learned.....stick to my rules!!

I had a bad house call experience, so now, I verify as much as I can before the coffee meet, which is always in a hotel . And be prepared to change your mind, so have a plan if the meet isn't going well.

I'd consider it a good call on your part, anyone who pressures you to do something you're not comfortable is to be avoided.

Block him and put it down to a lucky escape. How do you think he would have taken "thanks but no thanks" when in was in your house.

You do what makes you comfortable don't let him push you into meeting at home if you aren't happy with it. If he was a real gentleman he would understand and not push you on this.

He probably assumed that your house meet would result in sex and when you wanted to change to a coffee shop he figured he'd not be getting the sex and so tried to force the issue.

Sounds like a bit of a tool. Regardless of gender, if someone asks to change venue you should respect that and go along with it. If the person also explains why they want the change then even more so should it be respected.

His loss, you stick to your guns and move on

Thanks everyone!!

So glad I made the decision to not go through with bringing him to my home. As several of you have said....it’s never a good idea to have someone over that you’ve never met....especially meeting someone from this site! Lesson truly learned!!

To be honest it has made me think about girls that wouldn’t have had the confidence to say no. How easily it is to be manipulated into something you don’t want. Sometimes people are very clever at the way the say things.....making you feel stupid and foolish for considering your safety.

Stick to your own gut feeling or boundaries and you won’t go far wrong , there are too many pushy men here who try to push their luck on women despite being told . I have met several who disregarded my preference when it came to it and I refused to verify them and also told other females of their pushy behavior .

I wouldn't go near him only a total twat would insist on going to someone else's house you have had a lucky escape it could have got nasty for you. The only bad pert is you can't name this guy on here so nobody else gets put in such an uncomfortable position.

I click on your username...i cant view profile....do youve either me blocked...or admin has your account froze or youve left...none in my block list btw

Same thing happens when I click on yours. I’ve checked and re checked my block list and you are DEFINITELY not on it.

You never did anything on me so I had no reason to block you anyway. You were always the gentleman

I was yes....that is who i am...if you cant see my profile and i can see yours then i dunno what is up but as far i know your profile only exists on this forum for my profile to see

Btw i cant see your profile when i click onto it lol spell check needed

It’s ok I knew what you meant lol

Ive no one in my block list lol u def arent there

Lol did you click on the bit that says “blocked user” and just double check??

Yep...nowt there...u must have single male profiles blocked if im not on your block list

Ok I’ll contact admin and see if they can sort it as I don’t understand or know what else to do. I’ve checked my block list over and over.

Did you get me unblocked?? I can see you now "

*sniff* is this all building towards a happy ending?

Anyone else gripped to see if he'll invite her for a coffee again?

"U do...i never heard anything

Please check your block list as you aren’t on mine.

I have never and would never leave anyone standing for anything. I hid my profile for a few months and wasn’t online.
