As alot of fabbers claim then why are so many profiles deceitful about their age. And not just by a yr or 2 alot take 5 to over 10 yrs off their actual age.. As many a thread has stated there is some one for everyone here so is to too hard to except the ages filters. I mean we all have our own valid reasons for having an age limit. I autually curious to know why this is.

Well having crossed the line!(50! )..I find my market share has narrowed considerably!..it can be frustrating ,and it will narrow again in a few months time as so many cut off at 50 as well!..no point lying about my age,I wouldn't get away with it! ...so for now I'll just keep putting up photos of myself when I was 32!

Because for most age is not just a number, even when they say differently.

Yes there's a lot that are 5 to 10 years older than stated on the profile, and they do that simply because most ladies and couples have an upper age limit of 45years. And you also find the other way around 20 something year old pretending to be over 30.

For me age filter is handy to minimise message influx but the age limits aren't sacrosanct, if someone is bit older or younger it's not the end of the fab world.

Well said although I’d still be annoyed if someone was lying about their age by say 5 years

I went 16 yrs younger once, I had my lower limit to 23 he turned out to be 21. I went back to 25 after lol I do prefer younger guys

If someone wants to lie about their age that’s their own issue they obviously have there own reason for it but for me age is just a number. I think once both can get along have a laugh and hold a conversation I don’t see a problem. There also needs to be a level of maturity of one person is younger by a good few years but that’s just my opinion

I’m after going 10 years older lately but you probably already know that

Some of the most fantastic fun people we have met are 50ish or 50 plus.

When we first joined we thought no older than 40 etc but after our first social we quickly changed that idea!

Always been truthful about my age but find that theres very few people willing to meet over 50's. Its a shame because people my age have every bit as much if not more to offer.
