We are gauging interest for supper at a secret location in Dublin City.

Invitations are open to COUPLES ONLY and a very small & select number of single males and females.

The concept of a swinger dinner is interesting (to us at least) however we're not available that weekend. Your profile seem to suggest the dinners would be held at regular restaurants which i think somewhat defeat the purpose and does not provide a suitable degree of privacy. Can you clarify ?

We can lower it slightly but we are concerned it might alienate some of the others if we do.

By "regular"... we mean once every six weeks or so... depending on interest level and availability.

Discretion, as always, is advised but we would assume that most fabswingers of a certain disposition would naturally take it for granted. It certainly never stops us from attending other types of socials.

It's something I would be interested but obviously the age restrictions would have to be lowered.

The one thing I do find when going to restaurants at the moment is I'm served food I can replicate myself and to the same if not a better standard

If I go out for a meal I want to be wowed and I think this could be alot of fun

Great idea but a profile with very few verifications and very little information regarding what the night entails other than eating will put alot of people off you need provide a bit more information.

Dublin only for now... for logistical reasons... but who knows in the future... there are some excellent hotels with chefals outside the Dublin city area that might appeal to a more genteel country crowd... also... there are beautiful spots in the West we have tried that serve delicious seafood and wines we would be eager to try out next summer.

Ah that's where my youth lends itself haha just a ball of energy.

I wouldn't look at hosting in my own place but probably rent out a apartment for the night and like any good supper club you pay what you value the meal at yourself.

The come dine with me thing is just a bit of craic

As far as we are concerned, this event would be considered along the same vein as a social... but with good food involved and a chance to get to know fellow swingers in a comfortable and luxurious setting.

Brilliant idea!

Here's a thought.

Hire apartment for the night. Each couple bring their signature dish, ready to reheat or cook in less than 5mins, 10mins for rice/pasta and haway ye go. Lots of wine, banter, excellent food and, even without play, will be a good noght

All attendees share cost of apartment, except cooks, who pay half fee. You never know, their food could be shite, so at least you've got something out of them

We have now booked the venue. Supper is at 9:00 PM. Set menu is three course menu for €40 including service charge. The food and service here are impeccable and the atmosphere very relaxed and informal.

The restaurant does cater to those with food allergies although we would ask to inform us first by pm if this is an issue.

Spaces are very limited. Please PM us ASAP if you are serious about attending.

Shocking! Booking a restaurant. I would have made everyone list their speciality dish, ingredients and cooking methods, so you could have a proper gourmet evening.

Speaking of "porkies", I'm sure some of the purple prose written in some of the verifications recorded might reflect a distinct lack of perspective - no one has ever published a bad review for a meet after all.

Be that as it may, no one will be "conned" into anything as some on the forums have suggested. We only seek to get to know like-minded swingers over a nice meal rather than having to resort to less salubrious means.

Anyhoo, spots are already filled up for the next dinner. Anyone wishing to reserve at this juncture will have to wait until the next one.

Im sure its cold comfort to the OP, but after the last couple of days here on the forum, senses are heightened with some people, im sure thats coming from a place of concern with people, and im sure it wont detract in any way from the op having a very successful event..

We love this idea, one of our favourite scenarios actually, but more interested in a meet where we can all play at the end rather than just dinner!! Will it be a regular restaurant or private venue with private caterers who disappear after dinner?

Looked into something similar about w years ago but decided that the costs of public liability insurance and alcohol license was prohibitive for the size of event / interest in.

Hopefully it works for you - so many things in the lifestyle seem like a good idea just waiting to be ruined by a twat who sues you or dosent know how to behave.

Which is the very reason why the Mrs didn't feel at all comfortable chatting with you as you claimed to be the male half of this couple. Easy to claim, less so to substantiate.

This is a highly disingenuous and self-serving comment and reflects an overall lack of respect towards other users wanting to connect with others on the site without having to resort to attend to boozy pub crawls where women are vulnerable to consent violations by opportunistic d*unken males. Verified by well known event organisers, I believe they were genuine but bit off more than they could chew and weren't thick skinned enough to be able to deal with the shit fab will throw at you. Sure look it's a gap in the market and I'm going to be looking into it

No, they were NOT reporters

Yes, that account was verified from previous meets at other events

Yes, venue was booked but as usual the two ladies on the Kik channel up and left suddenly with no warning which left a channel full of men so it got canned. In fact there were a few forum regulars who joined the Kik channel with no intention of going but just having a nosy.

I suggest to all the naysayers that the only reason this didn't get off the ground was mean-spirited jealousy and schadenfreude.

It was a great concept but sadly, because of the attitude of some on this site this is unlikely to ever materialise so congrats.
