I once travelled to London for a meet

And yes, it was worth it.

We compromise now and meet in Liverpool

We travel anywhere for a meeting. Nothing like getting away for a night. One downside is no shows. Very disappointing. But if that happens we just make the most of it.

Dublin

Yep I’ve driven to meets that would take 2 hours to get to and haven’t played .. just went out for drinks but no physical attraction and then drove home that night ... my drinks are sparkling water before anyone asks . Never drink on a meet ... I’m hyper enough sober

i have driven to all parts of the country ... thankfully there was never a no show & we always played ..

with the better road system 2 hours is acceptable ... especially if it is a hotel meet & you both plan to stay the night ... must admit im partial to the possibility or all nite ... diner, some drinks & fun ... a great way to meet

I have travelled over 2 hours and it was worth it. Lucky to have no ‘no shows’.

Always try to make sure that people are genuine before I travel. Always go with hope of fun but if it doesn’t happen then that’s ok too.

It all depends who it is, if I've already met him and if I'm dying to see him again

Seems to happen a lot on here

For me, 1.5 hrs or thereabouts. I went out with someone from Carlow and Kilkenny so kind of used to the journeys

Flew to Manchester for a meet and omg is was defo worth it x

I have no problem traveling to anyone worth the effort but one thing I can’t stand is when you get a message from someone other end of the country and they ask “are you ever down in say Kerry” why on earth message if your not willing to travel or at least pretend you will.

Was chatting to a guy once and getting on very well then when I suggested meeting for coffee his reply was it’s a bit far for a coffee!

How about 3 hours, a thermos of good coffee and a packed lunch for the return trip

There is no such thing as too far if it's for the right person/persons and you have the time

I have travelled to Dublin once but i don't travel in general. If i am going somewhere i will check who's near or if chatting to a person of interest i let them know i am up their way, i tend to work it that way usual . As my shedule is unpredictable at times it's hard to travel.
