Only recently have I noticed that a childhood neighbour is on here as a cpl with someone who doesn't look like the woman he was with when I bumped into him a while ago... Ha ha ha

I went to meet a lady here for coffee once. It turned out I had priced a job for her and her husband a couple of years before. I said nothing about it but she kept asking questions until she figured out where we had met before. She was mortified, mostly because they had given me the go ahead with the job but then we ended up having a disagreement and they got someone else to do it instead. She was too embarrassed to take it any further.

I was delighted because she had been tipsy and sitting out in the garden wearing a bikini on the evening I had arrived to price the job. I was sure my luck was in. #gutted

Such a pity. Her by now former husband was an obnoxious bully of a man and I'd almost have been delighted just to tell him afterwards

He really was not a pleasant person.
