There was a research carried out in the States a while back where people of opposite gender were paired up at random to have sex never having met before. As part of the study researchers were trying to determine how many would be primarily concerned with what the other parter will think of them and how many where primarily concerned whether they will like the partner. The results were quite interesting... but before revealing ....quick show of hands before a meet do we care more if the other person/couple will like us or if we will like them?

A lot would depend on you as a person ... but mostly I'd say people would worry about what others thought of them.. with the way things have gone these days a lot more people are becoming more and more anxious ... and worry about what others think and how the are seen by other ...

I'd be more concerned about whether I liked them, when I have to spend time in their company.

Also I think it's a case of we put our best foot forward on here and social media in general.

The best pics the best lighting and angle and so on so when it comes to meeting someone face to face for the first time you hope you didn't do too good of a job with the pics and they think they have been car fished

Or maybe that's just me

i think if the other person liked or thought well of me then Im most likely to feel the same way about them ... mutual attraction ... so for me its them about me

I'm confident in my own skin and like who I am as I always treat people right. So if someone didnt like me I wouldn't be worried about it at all. I wouldn't think there was something wrong with me, just that I wasn't attractive to that person. Everybody is attractive to someone. Just have to find them. So for me it would be whether I was attracted to them. And that could be physically mentally or just the way they moved or spoke. Its the small things that make a big difference.
