My English teacher would call the "A" stream kids by their first name...& the rest of the us by our surnames

You had to "academically earn your right" to be called by your first name with him

I mean seriously

Yeah, we had a Religon Teacher of all things just like that

Her nickname was "Jugs" (never could figure out why

...) but she literally used to flirt with some of the 6th year guys...

Every lad in the school lusted after her and a few Dads probably wanted to attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings to see how their young fella was getting on in Religion too!!
