This is just an idea floating about in my head and I’m looking for some genuine feedback please:

As a single lady I’ve often gone to socials and found it very hard to approach guys as I don’t know if they are single or in a couple.

I understand that the dynamic of couple is different and they have their own set of rules between themselves but it is hard for us "singletons" to know if they are allowed to be talking/snogging/dancing/other with a single lady/man without ruffling the other half’s feathers.

That is why I am thinking a Singles Social might be the way to go…..Has this ever been done before?

Calling All the Single Ladies & Single Men….I would love to hear from you as if there was genuine interest I could get the ball rolling……

I was thinking somewhere in the Midlands (Not Dublin due to Hotel costs) in late November/Early December....nothing set in stone...

Looking forward to hearing some feedback!!

Hi op i think it was planned a year ago in the old vinilla club. But unfortunately the male to female quotas was very onesided so it ended up as a single/cpl night. But like you i 100%agree it cqn be daunting and hard going as a single as you pointed out your not to sure if they are single or a cpl. Also it cqn be hard to engage conversation with say oe or two cpls that are all ready talking. So yes a real singles night would be a great venture for everyone to expqnd tgere circle of fsb friends. So if i can be of any help just shout x

I have hosted a couple of socials so I know how important the ratio needs to be, that's why the ladies would get their ticket's 1st.

Anyone with a single well verified profile would be eligible for a ticket.

This is just putting the feelers out to see if there is interest.

Now I need to put the thinking cap on!

Definitely be interested in this, just ask loads so if gals cancel there be loads left. I’m swinging 5 years and have yet to go to a sausage fest in fact it’s usually the opposite which is disappointing tbh
