No idea what I'm doing on this anymore

I know it's basically a complaining post but the title says it for itself.

I haven't a notion what I'm doing on this anymore.

I've had previous accounts but it seems since I got back on this that everything has changed.

The social side of this has disappeared and unless you're built like Dwayne Johnson, your messages are deleted or the interest in you has gone after an hour...

Am I the only one who thinks this and just gets annoyed being on fab?

Completely disagree, I’m not on here long, and in know way an expert but you only get out of this site what you put in.

Engaging in forums, instead of just putting up a feel soory for me post, writing a well thought out message instead of copy and paste and updating pics is the best approach.

All that being said i only have two verifications but that’s my own fault and no one elses!

I disagree too ...... I have managed to meet some amazing ladies throughout the years that I have been on here and I would describe my physique as very much in the "dad bod" category.

There aren't millions of messages in my inbox but then I don't send out millions either. I just keep looking for people with whom I think I would like to meet and if they don't message back then move on.

Yes, it can be a slow waiting game but I believe if you keep being yourself it will happen for you sooner .....or later.

From your post one would assume you were involved in the social aspect previously. Which would suggest you met plenty of fabbers. Surely your first step would be to reconnect with some of them to get some veris, No? As I'm sure you know veris will get you taken more seriously

It's not a feel sorry for me post.

I've been on and off fab for the past 5 years so I know how this site works

I made some great friends on this in the past and still hang out with them but since I've come back on...the vibe is completely different

I'm not moaning about no meets, I've had meets from here and been chatting no problem.

What I'm on about is the fact that it feels like it's stopped being the open social site it used to be.

It's gotten to be basically a photo vote popularity site. Even just starting a chat seems to be dictated on what pics you have up and nothing about what the chemistry is.

How can you know if you don't talk?

There were 2 couples I met on this but one has split up (neither on this anymore) and the other came off when they had a kid.

As for the other 3 girls, I've either fell out of touch with them or they're just not on here anymore

Just feels like something is missing since I got back on here.

I only posted because I was wondering if I'm the only person who has noticed that it's all a popularity contest or was it just me

I have to disagree with you too OP, I also returned to site after two years away (was briefly a member in 2016). If anything my Fab experience this time around is vastly improved. The forums are a great place to get to connect with fellow Fabbers and the social side of things are mentioned too, ie. Meet n Greets, etc. Spend some time on your profile wording and I also see you are only back two weeks, it takes time so patience is key. And I'm no Dwayne Johnson, as far from it as is possible, but not all people looking for the muscle bound guys either, we can all co-exist! There are a multitude of posts like this on the thread and I think people are weary of them.

Hope things work out ok for you OP. You get out of your Fab experience what you put in.

Then you will also know op that the place goes through fits and fads. It's difficult to get back into at time's but you do. Are you exactly the same person you were 5 year's ago, have you changed in anyway? If the answer is yes then puzzle solved. Everyday on here can be different depending on how you look at it.

Sometimes when he come back and the old familiar faces are gone it does feel like a struggle to fit in . I came back myself and all my old bbw group had gone off or moved on to pastures new but sure I'm still here and finding my feet again . Just bare it out and try the social side engage with people here and u may be asked to join in then . People have gone a little wary but there are newbies every day now wanting in on the action

Makes sense to be fair.

Guess I'll just start from scratch and work my way up.

I can appreciate what the OP is saying but I don't think it's essentially true.

I too recently signed back in for the first time in over a year and find the place different to what I remembered.

Not different in a negative way, but I don't recognize many profiles and the ones I used to interact with seem to have left so there is an element of starting all over again for me.

But I'm the only one who can do something about it.

I know it's a bit cliche but, you get out what you put in. Nobody owes you anything so it's up to you to make it work for you.

You're actually dead right, I got a message out of the blue when I woke up this morning from an old meet that changed her username and has no profile pic...could have gone right past her on this and not even notice
