How long do you keep it up?

..so you get a message saying for example "Hi how are you?",not much I know but their profile pics look good ,they have a least a couple of verifications so possibly a runner! ..you reply with two or three sentences maybe with something to try and make them smile! ...and then it begins! ...the one and two word answers eg: " sounds good","I would ","thank you" "maybe"...how long before you give up?

It means 1 of 2 things in my opinion:

1: She's not that interested in continuing the conversation, and thus, not that interested in me.

2: She is interested in me but not a great conversationalist.

Either way, I lose interest fairly quickly and let it go.

I managed to keep it up for a good hour one night, before I just had to blow my load, it went everywhere, even got it in my eye and it stung like hell.

Had blood shot eye for several days after.

Call them out on it...

"1 or 2 word lazy responses imply that you're lazy in bed? "

If they then reply with a half arsed response, cut them loose, delete all messages & move on

Some folk just arent great typers, we might get a mail that interests us enough to reply, if i'm doing the writing it would certainly be more long winded than if mr replied as he's just not a writer/typer/texter, but he'd reply as he wouldnt want someone we might be interested seeing a mail has been read then ignored.
