I'm not really into Johnny Cash, but that's a Tim Armstrong song now, only lyrics are the same. That's what I love in Rancid, they write songs in many genre and well above the standards. Even the Clash had very average songs, even though they're my all time favourites with Ramones. | |||

" Yeah Rancid have written some great tunes over the years. I love their Reggae/Ska stuff. Saw them at the Reading Festival in '98 just as 'Life Won't Wait' came out. Great performance and I still have the photos I'd have to agree with you and say that The Clash are probably my favourite band of all time too. Love the way they evolved over the short few years they were together. When you compare the first album to 'Combat Rock' it's like a totally different band. And in only 5 years too. | |||
