The tickets where free for anyone and everyone to book so I booked some along with a lot of people I know. The way I see it is you never know when faith might take hold of you and how silly would I feel if I discovered god and was too late to get tickets.
As for sick or terminally ill people they had just as much time to book tickets sure parish priests where block booking tickets well in advance of them going on general sale so they had early access to tickets.
If a hundred other people decided to jump of a bridge would you do that too ?? Why go to the trouble of booking tickets just to be an asshole???
Anybody that does so would have serious issues.
There was no trouble booking tickets. I didn't do it to be an asshole. Seeing as the pope is a head of state and people where barred from protesting anywhere near the park on the day, booking tickets and not turning up is a valid silent protest. If they had allowed a counter protest in the park the same day people would not have booked protest tickets. So what serious issues do you think I have Dr Phil?
On a smaller scale isn't it similar to people on FAB booking a place at a social and not turning up???

If their god wants them their then he/she will send them tickets all they need is faith and believe that they will get tickets. I don't have faith in that process so I booked tickets in case I want to go. I'm not here to argue the points of the Catholic church with you that was never my point .. the point I'm making is that you and others who decided to block book tickets are stopping those who want to go .. you have your beliefs by all means as we are all entitled to our own but let people chose if they want to go or not and the can't if people like you block book ..you clearly stated in a previous post you have no intention of going and that's your choice so why book and waste 24 tickets as I said I'm sure there is elderly people terminally ill or people who have faith in their religion that want to go ... so well done you on stopping those who want to go
You also realise that there where 100000s of tickets I bet you there will be more people who wanted to go and got tickets that won't turn up than the 24 I have so will they be damned to hell for not turning up?? you never know I might even sell them no that wouldn't be very Christian of me to make money off people's faith
