Are winks not a thing

So the good people that designed this here website seem to have wasted alot of time with the wink option .

I used it a few times hoping to grab the attention of somebody.alas nothing

After all if someone winked at me in public Id know they were interested in some way

So is it a no no from nobbers over using it

yes we use the wink alot here as a way to say hi and not anoy people with mails, if they wink back we then know they maybe interesded and we then send a mail , it has worked a good few times for us so yes we like the wink option

It shows lack of effort I use it to wink fab friends

But if there not winking back I’d say there not interested .

Usless function on here, most women/couples ignore winks. I have been winked at, winked back, messaged - no response, so not sure what's the purpose.

Mrs Crazy... I would be the same too. It's just to show interest and if they wink back, then I can message them.

We send and receive them, if someone doesn't match our preferences we will ignore them, if they are a match we will either wink back or send a message depending on available time.

Whenever I've received a wink on here, I check the person's profile out and will then message the person if it catches my eye. If I've sent a wink and I receive one back I'll follow up with a message, generally I'd message first though.

We use a wink to let people we like their profile. And if we get one back we usually message. Think it's s good function for couples anyway

Works the same for guys, & I'm sure girls too, haha.

Just because you aren't getting instant responses doesn't mean the system is broke. Could be they are inundated in messages & winks. Patience.
